We had a nice visit down in Jackson, Mississippi yesterday.  We had lunch at the new Babalu-tacos and tapas. Complete with I Love Lucy episodes running continuously on the screen-good interior design. And then we hopped over the Brent’s drugstore (circa 1949) and Mad had a malted milk from the soda fountain-a big city day!

Finally, we stopped and took a peek at the Jackson Greyhound bus station. A terrific example of Art Deco modernism AND a important site for the Freedom Riders during the Civil Rights movement.
