The building of hope and future

September 12, 2011

So lets end this weekend with the promise of a new public space for New York. Begun in 2004, the ground zero memorial park looks to be spectacular in as many goods ways as bad. Designed by Michael Arad, the process was hard and contentious as all epic architecture projects are, but it has accomplished a glorious end. See the very interesting New York Times video on its conception and infastructure.
