New Yorkers take note: tomorrow (Thursday Sept 27, 2012) Bryant Park will turn into a woolen wonderland. The Campaign for Wool
is launching Wool Week with a “stunning installation” featuring flocks of sheep and piles of wool in various forms. It seems the price of wool has plummeted and sheep numbers are declining across the world. Prince Charles formed The Campaign for Wool back in 2008 to address these concerns. I’m for anything that keeps him from designing buildings. Wool is one of the most environmentally friendly and sustainable of fibers we have. So head over to Central Park and report back – was it stunning – or just smelly?
