I have found myself seeing the beginnings of a new way to think about food and this contraption called the refrigerator in the press and around the art world. First up, this summer Eindhoven student Jihjun Ryou got some serious attention with her no-refrig preserving methods. By studying the physiology of different plants she understands how to store each species and therefore re-invent the refrigerator, so love this project. At the beginning of this summer I looked at Morgan J. Puett ideas about refrigerator space. And recently über graphic design artist Will Bryant showed this image of a current show and I wondered if this was the next canvas for ideas.
