As promised, post “as inspired”. We are really taking this week to refresh and clear our heads. BUT as I was scanning Facebook Edlekoort’s Trendtablet beckoned. The amusing work of Rodrigo Solorzano was featured. Edlekoort’s exhibtion “Pop-Up Generation” illuminates some real stars in the design field but I do have a problem with the actual work shown in this exhibit and the Pop-Up premise. Case in point, Solorzano’s work although playful takes a lot of work to get it that way, the making of the objects takes more time than the term Pop-Up suggests. What do you think?
