supper with shakespear

The trend toward the engaged historian excites me. In England with the work of Lucy Worsley and even the the odd BBC show, history really does come alive. Soon to come to Brooklyn, I hear, is the work of Ivan Day a food historian who has recently worked with Minneapolis Institute of Arts to portray a Supper with Shakespeare; The Evolution of English Banqueting. So inspiring.
