We are fully immersed in this idea of a vacation up here in Maine. But I am reading about what’s coming up in the art world in New York this fall. So excited for a show of Edmund de Waal’s work at Gargosian next month. De Wall executes plain beautiful forms and investigates the idea of collection and display, and therefore consumption and possession. His most current work discusses, What is a wall? De Waal’s practice (of making and writing) is the some of the most intelligent work happening today.
