This 2007 project by Emilie Batz dovetails quite nicely with yesterday’s musing on intimacy of dining.  Baltz work comments loudly on American consumption and eating habits. Her French ancestry saves the day here when it takes a prototypical American picnic table and has it glided via an ancient artisan method. The result, elegant but sufficiently haughty.
